Senate to Investigate Torture

According to the Washington Post, the Senate intelligence committee will begin an official review of CIA detention methods used under the previous administration. Not only will the panel investigate what methods were used, if torture was actually used, but also what information they got.

It's about time we get some honest and open government that is willing to look into its past to protect against the dangers of the future. Let's just hope that justice gets served.
